Spring Collection
My Creative Journey gives you an idea of how I started working with all kinds of photo beautifications. I used
imikimi to mainly create the frames and blends
lunapic to manage various effects and as everyone knows
google to search for that which I have in mind.
And the season(Spring) matched with my general love (I love flowers, nature and bright things)
that led to my Spring Collection

Hmmm... what a long story?
Well, with all those images and stages it did became long.
There's one more thing with imikimi which didn't enter my thoughts for a very long time, in fact not till a month back. Original kimis are generally used by other users and which improves the creator's rating. Till I created the following kimi and it was used extensively (in my terms) I created kimis only for beauty's sake.
The above kimi required less work but resulted in big rating difference.
That proves one of life's facts - Most popular may not always be The Best.
Popularity or fame usually shows the choice of majority not the quality of that which is popular (in any field).
woah.. said a lot didn't I?
Well anyways , who doesn't like to be popular?
So from that particular kimi I started creating kimis with my ideas for general use.
hee hee in other sense I created for public.
I categorized them in the next blog. Check them out there !
The thing is next kimi is something which I worked hard for (to think, arrange and get the effect)
It is still something I am proud of.

My Creative Journey Part 2
Before I go ahead with the second episode i would like to say what little I know about that site which helped me along this journey - imikimi.com
As claimed by the creators, imikimi is one such place which believes there's a creative side to anyone and it provides the means to be so in the most simple way.
I don't know about all the kimi users but I was usually helped and encouraged in the forums too. Which led to more quality kimis.
I generally learned through reverse technology i.e., experimenting with other's kimis and learning how to create that effect and replicating it with my own photographs.
That's how I made these next few kimis :

These next kimis I made on a purpose, one as a greeting for MY parents and the next one resembles Little Krishna (Hindu god) in lotus flower.

My Creative Journey 1
Creative Journey !
Wow what a term... This journey as I call it started with my intention to record all those beautiful moments and actions of my dearest child.
It developed stepwise (as anything usually does)
1. I started as all mothers do by taking loads and loads of photographs with various digital cameras.
2. Then I wanted to post them somewhere so that my child can be appreciated (mother's pride came into play here ) for this I used Orkut, Facebook, ourcutebabies.com etc.
3. And it is through Ourcutebabies that I came to know about imikimi.
imikimi ... a very useful site to beautify your little darlings.
4. And as all imikimi users know first we search for appropriate kimis for our photographs.
5 Then we start making our own simple kimis. I started with blending my son's snaps with nature photographs
These are my very first kimis, very simple ones just to serve my purpose :
This is my favorite.
Made it in the beginning days but came out beautifully.
I shall tell in my next post how the journey proceeded from here.
